**Why join our peer support program?**
- This service provides a supportive space to discuss challenges such as academic stress, relationships, mental health, career, and personal growth.
- Peer counselling is based on a relatable connection with other young people with shared experiences. It aims to empower, promote recovery, and build social connections.
- Connect with a vibrant peer mentor.

While not a substitute for therapy, it is a proven approach to help you navigate life’s challenges and achieve personal fulfilment with a peer mentor.


Individual Therapy/ Counselling

Providing professional treatment, referred to as psychotherapy to individuals, couples, teens, and children. Connect with a psychologist however you feel comfortable — in person (Barbados only), or by video from anywhere across the Caribbean region.


Couples Therapy/ Counselling

Professional treatment to help couples improve their relationship dynamic. This may be suitable for spouses, romantic partners, friends, and adult relatives.


Family Therapy/ Counselling

Professional support to help families improve their relationship dynamic. This may be suitable for everyone in the immediate family. In some cases, it might be helpful to include other family members if they are involved in the problems that need to be addressed.

Su-Ann is a bubbly, charismatic young adult with over 7 years of experience working in the mental health field. Her interests in child and adolescent mental health began with roots in a Montessori Nursery taking her through schools as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), NHS charities / clinics as a Peer Support Coordinator, and to clients homes as a Behaviour Analyst.

Su-Ann is naturally kind, with an eye for those needing a helping hand. She has carved her passion, care and prowess into supporting individuals with behavioural needs, autism spectrum disorders or other mental health conditions such as pathological demand avoidance, non-verbal, selective mutism, obsessive compulsive disorder, gender dysphoria, anorexia nervosa, trauma & anxiety - just to name a few!

Su-Ann is determined to progress as a Neurodevelopmental Psychologist and is currently studying at King’s College London in the United Kingdom. Her holistic perspective & knowledge on mental health has equipped her with some wonderful insights into how to best tackle the issues we all face. She aspires to help those she works with to feel inspired to reach their full potential and live an enriched, independent & empowering life. At heart, Su-Ann believes every aspect of life is meaningful, and therefore when psychological difficulties arise, they mustn’t be perceived as “challenges” but instead as a way for our brain to communicate to us that we need change, support, care, or love - all physiological necessities that make us human!

Rebecca Singh-Matthews is a Counselling Psychologist with experience in the field over the past 8 years. She has been privileged to work with individuals, couples, and children within Barbados and Canada.

Mrs. Singh-Matthews completed her Masters degree in Canada where she was born and raised, but has strong roots in Barbados where she now lives with her family.

Initially, Mrs. Singh-Matthew’s interests in the field surrounded children where she did work within private practices, schools, and child aid facilities in Canada. She then branched off to do more work with diverse groups through PAREDOS, University of the West Indies Cave Hill, and Her Majesty’s Dodd’s Prison in Barbados. This work helped to solidify her desire to work with many, in addition to children.

Mrs. Singh-Matthews has always been passionate about studying the mind and how it functions. Pairing this passion with her desire to help others has made the field of psychology fitting as her profession. One of her biggest goals is to work towards reducing the stigma attached to mental health in the Caribbean.

Ambria Holligan is a Clinical Psychologist who has experience over the past 9 years, working with diverse groups within Barbados and Jamaica, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Chantal Groden is a Counselling Psychologist who has a Master of Science in Counselling Psychology from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. Chantal has 3 years of experience providing counselling to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

She has received training in Telepsychology Best Practices, Psychological First Aid, Cognitive Behavioral Coaching, and Using Art as Therapy. Chantal has also volunteered as a tutor and Research Assistant for the Adopt-Our-Families Programme.

Chantal has provided psychological services in Barbados and Trinidad, and facilitates psycho-educational groups in the school setting with Supreme Counselling for Personal Development.

Chantal believes that each person is capable of positive change once given the right tools and support, and once they are willing to do the work. Chantal understands the importance of creating an environment where clients feel safe, heard, understood, accepted, and empowered. She utilizes a collaborative and integrative approach, tapping into a variety of interventions and therapeutic approaches to help her clients navigate their challenges.

Annstein Clark is a Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing for over 10 years. She has worked in varying settings and with specialized target groups.

Ms. Clark completed a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology at the University of The West Indies, Mona Campus. She has also completed postgraduate studies in Health Care Administration and Management.

Her passion for mental health and advocacy has taken her on many journeys in her career, including providing therapeutic intervention and psychological assessment services at the Psychiatric Hospital, the Government Industrial School, Supreme Counselling, and AGANAR Barbados. She has also provided psychological services and support in Jamaica, Dominica, and Canada, and as a volunteer in Australia.
